الأحزَاب

يَٰأَيُّهَا‏ اَلنَّبِيٓءُ اُتَّقِ اِللَّهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ اِلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَالْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيماٗ﴿1﴾

يأيها‏ النبيء اتق الله ولا تطع الكفرين والمنفقين إن الله كان عليما حكيما

O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيراٗ﴿2﴾

واتبع ما يوحى إليك من ربك إن الله كان بما تعملون خبيرا

Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اَللَّهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلاٗ﴿3﴾

وتوكل على الله وكفى بالله وكيلا

Put your trust in Allah; sufficient is Allah as a Disposer of Affairs.

مَّا جَعَلَ اَللَّهُ لِرَجُلٖ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ اُلَّٰٓئِي تَظَّهَّرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَقُولُ اُلْحَقَّ وَهْوَ يَهْدِي اِلسَّبِيلَ﴿4﴾

ما جعل الله لرجل من قلبين في جوفه وما جعل أزوجكم الئي تظهرون منهن أمهتكم وما جعل أدعياءكم أبناءكم ذلكم قولكم بأفوهكم والله يقول الحق وهو يهدي السبيل

Allah has not made for any man two hearts inside him, nor has he made your wives – whom you declare unlawful – your real mothers, nor has he made your adopted sons your real sons. These are only words that you utter, but Allah speaks the truth and He guides to the right way.

اَدْعُوهُمْ لِأٓبَآئِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ اَللَّهِ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُواْ ءَابَآءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ فِي اِلدِّينِ وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٞ فِيمَا أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِ وَلَٰكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ غَفُوراٗ رَّحِيماً﴿5﴾

ادعوهم لأبائهم هو أقسط عند الله فإن لم تعلموا ءاباءهم فإخونكم في الدين وموليكم وليس عليكم جناح فيما أخطأتم به ولكن ما تعمدت قلوبكم وكان الله غفورا رحيما

Call these [adopted sons] by their fathers’ names; that is more equitable before Allah. But if you do not know their fathers, then they are your brothers in faith and your patronized associates. There is no blame on you if you make a mistake in that regard, but only for what your hearts intend. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

اِلنَّبِيٓءُ اَوْلَىٰ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ وَأُوْلُواْ اُلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٖ فِي كِتَٰبِ اِللَّهِ مِنَ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّا أَن تَفْعَلُواْ إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَآئِكُم مَّعْرُوفاٗ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي اِلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُوراٗ﴿6﴾

النبيء اولى بالمؤمنين من أنفسهم وأزوجه أمهتهم وأولوا الأرحام بعضهم أولى ببعض في كتب الله من المؤمنين والمهجرين إلا أن تفعلوا إلى أوليائكم معروفا كان ذلك في الكتب مسطورا

The Prophet has a greater claim over the believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. And blood relatives are more entitled [to inheritance] than other believers and emigrants according to the Book of Allah unless you do good to your close associates [through bequest]. This is written in the Record.

وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِنَ اَلنَّبِيٓـِٕنَ مِيثَٰقَهُمْ وَمِنكَ وَمِن نُّوحٖ وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَى اَبْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُم مِّيثَٰقاً غَلِيظاٗ﴿7﴾

وإذ أخذنا من النبيـن ميثقهم ومنك ومن نوح وإبرهيم وموسى وعيسى ابن مريم وأخذنا منهم ميثقا غليظا

And [remember] when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you [O Prophet], and from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary; We took from them a solemn covenant

لِّيَسْـَٔلَ اَلصَّٰدِقِينَ عَن صِدْقِهِمْ وَأَعَدَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَاباً أَلِيماٗ﴿8﴾

ليسـل الصدقين عن صدقهم وأعد للكفرين عذابا أليما

so that He may question the truthful about their truthfulness, and He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اُذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَآءَتْكُمْ جُنُودٞ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحاٗ وَجُنُوداٗ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيراً﴿9﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا اذكروا نعمة الله عليكم إذ جاءتكم جنود فأرسلنا عليهم ريحا وجنودا لم تروها وكان الله بما تعملون بصيرا

O you who believe, remember Allah’s favor upon you when [enemy] forces came against you, but We sent against them a violent wind and forces that you could not see. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.

إِذْ جَآءُوكُم مِّن فَوْقِكُمْ وَمِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنكُمْ وَإِذْ زَاغَتِ اِلْأَبْصَٰرُ وَبَلَغَتِ اِلْقُلُوبُ اُلْحَنَاجِرَ وَتَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ اِلظُّنُونَا﴿10﴾

إذ جاءوكم من فوقكم ومن أسفل منكم وإذ زاغت الأبصر وبلغت القلوب الحناجر وتظنون بالله الظنونا

[Remember] when they came upon you from above you and from below you, and your eyes grew wild [in horror], and the hearts reached the throats, and you began to entertain various thoughts about Allah.

هُنَالِكَ اَبْتُلِيَ اَلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَزُلْزِلُواْ زِلْزَالاٗ شَدِيداٗ﴿11﴾

هنالك ابتلي المؤمنون وزلزلوا زلزالا شديدا

There the believers were tested and were severely shaken.

وَإِذْ يَقُولُ اُلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَالذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ مَّا وَعَدَنَا اَللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ إِلَّا غُرُوراٗ﴿12﴾

وإذ يقول المنفقون والذين في قلوبهم مرض ما وعدنا الله ورسوله إلا غرورا

And [remember] when the hypocrites and those with sickness in their hearts said, “Allah and His Messenger did not promise us but delusion!”

وَإِذْ قَالَت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنْهُمْ يَٰأَهْلَ يَثْرِبَ لَا مَقَامَ لَكُمْ فَارْجِعُواْ وَيَسْتَٰٔذِنُ فَرِيقٞ مِّنْهُمُ اُلنَّبِيٓءَ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ بِيُوتَنَا عَوْرَةٞ وَمَا هِيَ بِعَوْرَةٍ إِنْ يُّرِيدُونَ إِلَّا فِرَاراٗ﴿13﴾

وإذ قالت طائفة منهم يأهل يثرب لا مقام لكم فارجعوا ويستذن فريق منهم النبيء يقولون إن بيوتنا عورة وما هي بعورة إن يريدون إلا فرارا

And [remember] when a group of them said, “O people of Yathrib, you cannot withstand [the enemy attack], so go back.” Another group of them asked the Prophet’s permission to leave, saying, “Our homes are exposed,” even though they were not exposed; they only wanted to flee.

وَلَوْ دُخِلَتْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنْ أَقْطَارِهَا ثُمَّ سُئِلُواْ اُلْفِتْنَةَ لَأَتَوْهَا وَمَا تَلَبَّثُواْ بِهَا إِلَّا يَسِيراٗ﴿14﴾

ولو دخلت عليهم من أقطارها ثم سئلوا الفتنة لأتوها وما تلبثوا بها إلا يسيرا

If the enemy were to enter the town upon them from all sides, and they were asked to abandon faith, they would have done it and would not have shown hesitation in it except a little.

وَلَقَدْ كَانُواْ عَٰهَدُواْ اُللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ اَلْأَدْبَٰرَ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ اُللَّهِ مَسْـُٔولاٗ﴿15﴾

ولقد كانوا عهدوا الله من قبل لا يولون الأدبر وكان عهد الله مسـولا

They had already made a covenant with Allah earlier that they would not turn and flee, and the covenant of Allah will surely be questioned about.

قُل لَّنْ يَّنفَعَكُمُ اُلْفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرْتُم مِّنَ اَلْمَوْتِ أَوِ اِلْقَتْلِ وَإِذاٗ لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلاٗ﴿16﴾

قل لن ينفعكم الفرار إن فررتم من الموت أو القتل وإذا لا تمتعون إلا قليلا

Say, “Fleeing will never benefit you if you try to flee from death or killing, even then you will only be left to enjoy life except for a little while.”

قُلْ مَن ذَا اَلذِي يَعْصِمُكُم مِّنَ اَللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ سُوٓءاً أَوْ أَرَادَ بِكُمْ رَحْمَةٗ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اِللَّهِ وَلِيّاٗ وَلَا نَصِيراٗ﴿17﴾

قل من ذا الذي يعصمكم من الله إن أراد بكم سوءا أو أراد بكم رحمة ولا يجدون لهم من دون الله وليا ولا نصيرا

Say, “Who is there that can protect you from Allah if He intends to harm you or show you mercy?” They will not find besides Allah any protector or helper.

قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اُللَّهُ اُلْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالْقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ اَلْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلاً﴿18﴾

قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخونهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس إلا قليلا

Allah knows well those among you who discourage others and those [hypocrites] who say to their brothers, “Come and join us,” and they hardly take part in the battle.

أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِذَا جَآءَ اَلْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالذِي يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ اَلْمَوْتِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ اَلْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى اَلْخَيْرِ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ فَأَحْبَطَ اَللَّهُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اَللَّهِ يَسِيراٗ﴿19﴾

أشحة عليكم فإذا جاء الخوف رأيتهم ينظرون إليك تدور أعينهم كالذي يغشى عليه من الموت فإذا ذهب الخوف سلقوكم بألسنة حداد أشحة على الخير أولئك لم يؤمنوا فأحبط الله أعملهم وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا

They are niggardly towards you. When danger comes, you see them looking at you with their eyes rolling like someone in the throes of death. But when danger is over, they slash you with sharp tongues, in greed for gains. Such people have not truly believed, so Allah will render their deeds worthless. That is easy for Allah.

يَحْسِبُونَ اَلْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُواْ وَإِنْ يَّأْتِ اِلْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّواْ لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي اِلْأَعْرَابِ يَسْـَٔلُونَ عَنْ أَنبَآئِكُمْ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ فِيكُم مَّا قَٰتَلُواْ إِلَّا قَلِيلاٗ﴿20﴾

يحسبون الأحزاب لم يذهبوا وإن يأت الأحزاب يودوا لو أنهم بادون في الأعراب يسـلون عن أنبائكم ولو كانوا فيكم ما قتلوا إلا قليلا

They think that the Confederates have not yet gone. If the Confederates were to come again, they would wish that they were away in the desert with Bedouins, asking for news of you. Even if they were among you, they would hardly take part in the fight.

لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اِللَّهِ إِسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٞ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُواْ اُللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ اَلْأٓخِرَ وَذَكَرَ اَللَّهَ كَثِيراٗ﴿21﴾

لقد كان لكم في رسول الله إسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجوا الله واليوم الأخر وذكر الله كثيرا

Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for those who look forward to Allah and the Last Day, and remember Allah much.

وَلَمَّا رَءَا اَلْمُؤْمِنُونَ اَلْأَحْزَابَ قَالُواْ هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اَللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اَللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَٰناٗ وَتَسْلِيماٗ﴿22﴾

ولما رءا المؤمنون الأحزاب قالوا هذا ما وعدنا الله ورسوله وصدق الله ورسوله وما زادهم إلا إيمنا وتسليما

When the believers saw the confederates, they said, “This is what Allah and His messenger had promised us, and Allah and His messenger have told the truth.” And it only increased them in faith and submission.

مِّنَ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٞ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَٰهَدُواْ اُللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ يَّنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلاٗ﴿23﴾

من المؤمنين رجال صدقوا ما عهدوا الله عليه فمنهم من قضى نحبه ومنهم من ينتظر وما بدلوا تبديلا

Among the believers there are men who have been true to their pledge to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge, and others are still waiting, and they have not changed in the least.

لِّيَجْزِيَ اَللَّهُ اُلصَّٰدِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ اَلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ إِن شَا أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُوراٗ رَّحِيماٗ﴿24﴾

ليجزي الله الصدقين بصدقهم ويعذب المنفقين إن شا أو يتوب عليهم إن الله كان غفورا رحيما

[It all happened] so that Allah may reward the truthful for their truthfulness, and punish the hypocrites if He wills, or accept their repentance. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَرَدَّ اَللَّهُ اُلذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُواْ خَيْراٗ وَكَفَى اَللَّهُ اُلْمُؤْمِنِينَ اَلْقِتَالَ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ قَوِيّاً عَزِيزاٗ﴿25﴾

ورد الله الذين كفروا بغيظهم لم ينالوا خيرا وكفى الله المؤمنين القتال وكان الله قويا عزيزا

Allah has repelled the disbelievers in their rage without gaining any good. And Allah spared the believers from fighting, and Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty.

وَأَنزَلَ اَلذِينَ ظَٰهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ اِلْكِتَٰبِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ اُلرُّعْبَ فَرِيقاٗ تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقاٗ﴿26﴾

وأنزل الذين ظهروهم من أهل الكتب من صياصيهم وقذف في قلوبهم الرعب فريقا تقتلون وتأسرون فريقا

And He brought down those of the People of the Book who supported them from their fortresses, and cast horror into their hearts: you killed some and took others as captives.

وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَٰرَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَأَرْضاٗ لَّمْ تَطَـُٔوهَا وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ قَدِيراٗ﴿27﴾

وأورثكم أرضهم وديرهم وأمولهم وأرضا لم تطـوها وكان الله على كل شيء قديرا

He also made you inherit their land, their homes and their wealth, and a land on which you have not yet set foot. And Allah is Most Capable of all things.

يَٰأَيُّهَا‏ اَلنَّبِيٓءُ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اَلْحَيَوٰةَ اَلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحاٗ جَمِيلاٗ﴿28﴾

يأيها‏ النبيء قل لأزوجك إن كنتن تردن الحيوة الدنيا وزينتها فتعالين أمتعكن وأسرحكن سراحا جميلا

O Prophet, tell your wives, “If you seek the life of this world and its embellishments, then come, I will give you provision and release you graciously.

وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ اَللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ اَلْأٓخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ اَللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْراً عَظِيماٗ﴿29﴾

وإن كنتن تردن الله ورسوله والدار الأخرة فإن الله أعد للمحسنت منكن أجرا عظيما

But if you seek Allah and His Messenger and the Final Abode, then Allah has prepared for those who do good among you a great reward.”

يَٰنِسَآءَ اَلنَّبِيٓءِ مَنْ يَّأْتِ مِنكُنَّ بِفَٰحِشَةٖ مُّبَيِّنَةٖ يُضَٰعَفْ لَهَا اَلْعَذَابُ ضِعْفَيْنِ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اَللَّهِ يَسِيراٗ﴿30﴾

ينساء النبيء من يأت منكن بفحشة مبينة يضعف لها العذاب ضعفين وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا

O wives of the Prophet, if anyone from among you were to commit a clear shameful act, the punishment would be doubled for her. That is easy for Allah.

وَمَنْ يَّقْنُتْ مِنكُنَّ لِلهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحاٗ نُّؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقاٗ كَرِيماٗ﴿31﴾

ومن يقنت منكن لله ورسوله وتعمل صلحا نؤتها أجرها مرتين وأعتدنا لها رزقا كريما

But whoever among you devoutly obeys Allah and His Messenger and does righteous deeds, We will give her a double reward, and We have prepared for her an honorable provision.

يَٰنِسَآءَ اَلنَّبِيٓءِ لَسْتُنَّ كَأَحَدٖ مِّنَ اَلنِّسَآ إِنِ اِتَّقَيْتُنَّ فَلَا تَخْضَعْنَ بِالْقَوْلِ فَيَطْمَعَ اَلذِي فِي قَلْبِهِ مَرَضٞ وَقُلْنَ قَوْلاٗ مَّعْرُوفاٗ﴿32﴾

ينساء النبيء لستن كأحد من النسا إن اتقيتن فلا تخضعن بالقول فيطمع الذي في قلبه مرض وقلن قولا معروفا

O wives of the Prophet, you are not like any other women: if you fear Allah, do not be complaisant in your speech, lest those with sickness in their hearts should be moved with desire; but speak in an appropriate manner.

وَقَرْنَ فِي بِيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ اَلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ اِلْأُولَىٰ وَأَقِمْنَ اَلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتِينَ اَلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِعْنَ اَللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اُللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ اُلرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ اَلْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيراٗ﴿33﴾

وقرن في بيوتكن ولا تبرجن تبرج الجهلية الأولى وأقمن الصلوة وءاتين الزكوة وأطعن الله ورسوله إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا

Stay in your homes and do not display your charms as was done in the former days of ignorance; establish prayer and give Zakah; and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah only intends to keep evil away from you, O members of the [Prophet’s] household, and to completely purify you.

وَاذْكُرْنَ مَا يُتْلَىٰ فِي بِيُوتِكُنَّ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ اِللَّهِ وَالْحِكْمَةِ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ لَطِيفاً خَبِيراً﴿34﴾

واذكرن ما يتلى في بيوتكن من ءايت الله والحكمة إن الله كان لطيفا خبيرا

And remember what is recited in your homes of Allah’s verses and [prophetic] wisdom. Allah is Most Subtle, All-Aware.

إِنَّ اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَٰتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَالْقَٰنِتِينَ وَالْقَٰنِتَٰتِ وَالصَّٰدِقِينَ وَالصَّٰدِقَٰتِ وَالصَّٰبِرِينَ وَالصَّٰبِرَٰتِ وَالْخَٰشِعِينَ وَالْخَٰشِعَٰتِ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ وَالْمُتَصَدِّقَٰتِ وَالصَّٰٓئِمِينَ وَالصَّٰٓئِمَٰتِ وَالْحَٰفِظِينَ فُرُوجَهُمْ وَالْحَٰفِظَٰتِ وَالذَّٰكِرِينَ اَللَّهَ كَثِيراٗ وَالذَّٰكِرَٰتِ أَعَدَّ اَللَّهُ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٗ وَأَجْراً عَظِيماٗ﴿35﴾

إن المسلمين والمسلمت والمؤمنين والمؤمنت والقنتين والقنتت والصدقين والصدقت والصبرين والصبرت والخشعين والخشعت والمتصدقين والمتصدقت والصئمين والصئمت والحفظين فروجهم والحفظت والذكرين الله كثيرا والذكرت أعد الله لهم مغفرة وأجرا عظيما

Muslim men and women, believing men and women, obedient men and women, truthful men and women, patient men and women, humble men and women, charitable men and women, fasting men and women, and the men and women who guard their chastity, and men and women who remember Allah much – Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward.

وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٖ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى اَللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَمْراً أَن تَكُونَ لَهُمُ اُلْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَّعْصِ اِللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَٰلاٗ مُّبِيناٗ﴿36﴾

وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن تكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضللا مبينا

It is not for a believing man or woman – when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter – to have any other choice in their matter. Whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone astray.

وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلذِي أَنْعَمَ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَاتَّقِ اِللَّهَ وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اَللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى اَلنَّاسَ وَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَيٰهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٞ مِّنْهَا وَطَراٗ زَوَّجْنَٰكَهَا لِكَيْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٞ فِي أَزْوَٰجِ أَدْعِيَآئِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْاْ مِنْهُنَّ وَطَراٗ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اُللَّهِ مَفْعُولاٗ﴿37﴾

وإذ تقول للذي أنعم الله عليه وأنعمت عليه أمسك عليك زوجك واتق الله وتخفي في نفسك ما الله مبديه وتخشى الناس والله أحق أن تخشيه فلما قضى زيد منها وطرا زوجنكها لكي لا يكون على المؤمنين حرج في أزوج أدعيائهم إذا قضوا منهن وطرا وكان أمر الله مفعولا

And [remember, O Prophet] when you were saying to the one who was favored by Allah and favored by you, “Keep your wife and fear Allah.” You were concealing in your heart what Allah was going to reveal, and you were fearing people, while it was more fitting that you should fear Allah. When Zayd no longer had desire for her, We gave her to you in marriage, so that there would be no restraint for the believers in marrying the ex-wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have desire for them. And Allah’s decree is bound to be fulfilled.

مَّا كَانَ عَلَى اَلنَّبِيٓءِ مِنْ حَرَجٖ فِيمَا فَرَضَ اَللَّهُ لَهُ سُنَّةَ اَللَّهِ فِي اِلذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اُللَّهِ قَدَراٗ مَّقْدُوراً﴿38﴾

ما كان على النبيء من حرج فيما فرض الله له سنة الله في الذين خلوا من قبل وكان أمر الله قدرا مقدورا

There is no blame on the Prophet concerning what Allah has made lawful for him. Such was the way of Allah with those [prophets] who came before. And Allah’s command is a decree firmly determined,

اِلذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ اِللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَداً إِلَّا اَللَّهَ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ حَسِيباٗ﴿39﴾

الذين يبلغون رسلت الله ويخشونه ولا يخشون أحدا إلا الله وكفى بالله حسيبا

those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him, and they do not fear anyone except Allah. And sufficient is Allah as a Reckoner.

مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٖ مِّن رِّجَالِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ اَللَّهِ وَخَاتِمَ اَلنَّبِيٓـِٕنَ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيماٗ﴿40﴾

ما كان محمد أبا أحد من رجالكم ولكن رسول الله وخاتم النبيـن وكان الله بكل شيء عليما

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the seal of the prophets. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اُذْكُرُواْ اُللَّهَ ذِكْراٗ كَثِيراٗ﴿41﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا اذكروا الله ذكرا كثيرا

O you who believe, remember Allah much,

وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكْرَةٗ وَأَصِيلاً﴿42﴾

وسبحوه بكرة وأصيلا

and glorify Him morning and evening.

هُوَ اَلذِي يُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُم مِّنَ اَلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى اَلنُّورِ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيماٗ﴿43﴾

هو الذي يصلي عليكم وملئكته ليخرجكم من الظلمت إلى النور وكان بالمؤمنين رحيما

It is He Who confers blessings upon you, and His angels pray for you, so that He may bring you out of the depths of darkness into the light. And He is Most Merciful to the believers.

تَحِيَّتُهُمْ يَوْمَ يَلْقَوْنَهُ سَلَٰمٞ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ أَجْراٗ كَرِيماٗ﴿44﴾

تحيتهم يوم يلقونه سلم وأعد لهم أجرا كريما

Their greeting on the Day they meet Him will be, “Peace,” and He has prepared for them a generous reward.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلنَّبِيٓءُ اِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ شَٰهِداٗ وَمُبَشِّراٗ وَنَذِيراٗ﴿45﴾

يأيها النبيء انا أرسلنك شهدا ومبشرا ونذيرا

O prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner,

وَدَاعِياً إِلَى اَللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَسِرَاجاٗ مُّنِيراٗ﴿46﴾

وداعيا إلى الله بإذنه وسراجا منيرا

and a caller to [the way of] Allah by His command, and as a lamp spreading light.

وَبَشِّرِ اِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُم مِّنَ اَللَّهِ فَضْلاٗ كَبِيراٗ﴿47﴾

وبشر المؤمنين بأن لهم من الله فضلا كبيرا

And give glad tidings to the believers that they will have a great bounty from Allah.

وَلَا تُطِعِ اِلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَالْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَدَعْ أَذَيٰهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اَللَّهِ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلاٗ﴿48﴾

ولا تطع الكفرين والمنفقين ودع أذيهم وتوكل على الله وكفى بالله وكيلا

Do not yield to the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and pay no heed to their annoyances. Put your trust in Allah, for Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of affairs.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ إِذَا نَكَحْتُمُ اُلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ فَمَا لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ عِدَّةٖ تَعْتَدُّونَهَا فَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ وَسَرِّحُوهُنَّ سَرَاحاٗ جَمِيلاٗ﴿49﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا إذا نكحتم المؤمنت ثم طلقتموهن من قبل أن تمسوهن فما لكم عليهن من عدة تعتدونها فمتعوهن وسرحوهن سراحا جميلا

O you who believe, when you marry believing women and then divorce them before the marriage is consummated, you have no reason to ask them to observe any waiting period, so give them compensation and release them in a pleasant manner.

يَٰأَيُّهَا‏ اَلنَّبِيٓءُ اِنَّا أَحْلَلْنَا لَكَ أَزْوَٰجَكَ اَلَّٰتِي ءَاتَيْتَ أُجُورَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ مِمَّا أَفَآءَ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنَاتِ عَمَّٰتِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنَاتِ خَٰلَٰتِكَ اَلَّٰتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَكَ وَامْرَأَةٗ مُّؤْمِنَةً إِنْ وَّهَبَتْ نَفْسَهَا لِلنَّبِيِّ إِنْ أَرَادَ‏ اَلنَّبِيٓءُ اَنْ يَّسْتَنكِحَهَا خَالِصَةٗ لَّكَ مِن دُونِ اِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا فَرَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي أَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُمْ لِكَيْلَا يَكُونَ عَلَيْكَ حَرَجٞ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ غَفُوراٗ رَّحِيماٗ﴿50﴾

يأيها‏ النبيء انا أحللنا لك أزوجك التي ءاتيت أجورهن وما ملكت يمينك مما أفاء الله عليك وبنات عمك وبنات عمتك وبنات خالك وبنات خلتك التي هاجرن معك وامرأة مؤمنة إن وهبت نفسها للنبي إن أراد‏ النبيء ان يستنكحها خالصة لك من دون المؤمنين قد علمنا ما فرضنا عليهم في أزوجهم وما ملكت أيمنهم لكيلا يكون عليك حرج وكان الله غفورا رحيما

O Prophet, We have made lawful for you your wives whose dowries you have paid; any bondwomen you may own from the captives whom Allah has bestowed upon you; daughters of your paternal uncle, daughters of your paternal aunts, daughters of your maternal uncle, daughters of your maternal aunts who have migrated with you; and a believing woman who offers herself to the Prophet [without dowry] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] exclusively for you, not for the rest of the believers. We know well what We have ordained for them concerning their marriages and the bondwomen they may own, so that there would be no discomfort for you. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful..

تُرْجِي مَن تَشَآءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُـْٔوِي إِلَيْكَ مَن تَشَآءُ وَمَنِ اِبْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَن تَقَرَّ أَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَا ءَاتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ عَلِيماً حَلِيماٗ﴿51﴾

ترجي من تشاء منهن وتـوي إليك من تشاء ومن ابتغيت ممن عزلت فلا جناح عليك ذلك أدنى أن تقر أعينهن ولا يحزن ويرضين بما ءاتيتهن كلهن والله يعلم ما في قلوبكم وكان الله عليما حليما

You [O Prophet] may postpone [the turn of] whoever you wish [of your wives], and you may share your time with whoever of them you wish, and there is no blame on you if you call back any of those whose turn you have set aside. That is more likely that they will be content and not distressed, and that they will be satisfied with what you give them all. Allah knows what is in your hearts, and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

لَّا يَحِلُّ لَكَ اَلنِّسَآءُ مِن بَعْدُ وَلَا أَن تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجٖ وَلَوْ أَعْجَبَكَ حُسْنُهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُكَ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ رَّقِيباٗ﴿52﴾

لا يحل لك النساء من بعد ولا أن تبدل بهن من أزوج ولو أعجبك حسنهن إلا ما ملكت يمينك وكان الله على كل شيء رقيبا

It is not lawful for you [O Prophet] to marry more women henceforth, nor can you replace any of them with others, even if their beauty may please you, except those bondwomen whom you own. And Allah is ever Watchful over all things.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَدْخُلُواْ بِيُوتَ اَلنَّبِيِّ إِلَّا أَنْ يُّؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ إِلَىٰ طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَٰظِرِينَ إِنَيٰهُ وَلَٰكِنْ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ فَادْخُلُواْ فَإِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانتَشِرُواْ وَلَا مُسْتَٰٔنِسِينَ لِحَدِيثٍ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي اِلنَّبِيٓءَ فَيَسْتَحْيِ مِنكُمْ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَسْتَحْيِ مِنَ اَلْحَقِّ وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَٰعاٗ فَسْـَٔلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَّرَآءِ حِجَابٖ ذَٰلِكُمْ أَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ أَن تُؤْذُواْ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ وَلَا أَن تَنكِحُواْ أَزْوَٰجَهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ أَبَداً إِنَّ ذَٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِندَ اَللَّهِ عَظِيماً﴿53﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا لا تدخلوا بيوت النبي إلا أن يؤذن لكم إلى طعام غير نظرين إنيه ولكن إذا دعيتم فادخلوا فإذا طعمتم فانتشروا ولا مستنسين لحديث إن ذلكم كان يؤذي النبيء فيستحي منكم والله لا يستحي من الحق وإذا سألتموهن متعا فسـلوهن من وراء حجاب ذلكم أطهر لقلوبكم وقلوبهن وما كان لكم أن تؤذوا رسول الله ولا أن تنكحوا أزوجه من بعده أبدا إن ذلكم كان عند الله عظيما

O you who believe, do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless you are given permission for a meal; not so early as to wait for the meal to be prepared. But if you are invited, then enter, and when you have eaten, then disperse, without lingering for conversation. Such [behavior] causes annoyance to the Prophet; he is too shy to express it to you, but Allah is not shy of [telling] the truth. And if you ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a screen; that is purer for your hearts and their hearts. It is not lawful for you to cause annoyance to Allah’s Messenger, or to ever marry his wives after him, for that is indeed an enormous sin before Allah.

إِن تُبْدُواْ شَئْاً أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيماٗ﴿54﴾

إن تبدوا شيا أو تخفوه فإن الله كان بكل شيء عليما

Whether you reveal something or conceal it, Allah is All-Knowing of everything.

لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِنَّ فِي ءَابَآئِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَآئِهِنَّ وَلَا إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَآ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ وَلَا أَبْنَآءِ اَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ وَلَا نِسَآئِهِنَّ وَلَا مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُهُنَّ وَاتَّقِينَ اَللَّهَ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ شَهِيداً﴿55﴾

لا جناح عليهن في ءابائهن ولا أبنائهن ولا إخونهن ولا أبنا إخونهن ولا أبناء اخوتهن ولا نسائهن ولا ما ملكت أيمنهن واتقين الله إن الله كان على كل شيء شهيدا

There is no blame on the Prophet’s wives [if they are seen unveiled] by their fathers, their sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their fellow [Muslim] women, and their slaves whom they own. And fear Allah [O Prophet’s wives], for Allah is Witness over all things.

إِنَّ اَللَّهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى اَلنَّبِيٓءِ يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيماً﴿56﴾

إن الله وملئكته يصلون على النبيء يأيها الذين ءامنوا صلوا عليه وسلموا تسليما

Indeed, Allah sends His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O you who believe, invoke Allah’s blessings upon him and send him greetings of peace.

إِنَّ اَلذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اَللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَعَنَهُمُ اُللَّهُ فِي اِلدُّنْيَا وَالْأٓخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَاباٗ مُّهِيناٗ﴿57﴾

إن الذين يؤذون الله ورسوله لعنهم الله في الدنيا والأخرة وأعد لهم عذابا مهينا

Those who offend Allah and His Messenger are cursed by Allah in this world and in the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment.

وَالذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اَكْتَسَبُواْ فَقَدِ اِحْتَمَلُواْ بُهْتَٰناٗ وَإِثْماٗ مُّبِيناٗ﴿58﴾

والذين يؤذون المؤمنين والمؤمنت بغير ما اكتسبوا فقد احتملوا بهتنا وإثما مبينا

Those who abuse believing men and women for something they did not commit, will bear the burden of slander and flagrant sin.

يَٰأَيُّهَا‏ اَلنَّبِيٓءُ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ اِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰ أَنْ يُّعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ غَفُوراٗ رَّحِيماٗ﴿59﴾

يأيها‏ النبيء قل لأزوجك وبناتك ونساء المؤمنين يدنين عليهن من جلبيبهن ذلك أدنى أن يعرفن فلا يؤذين وكان الله غفورا رحيما

O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters, and the believing women to draw their outer garments over themselves; that is more likely that they will be known [as chaste women] and will not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

لَّئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ اِلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَالذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٞ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي اِلْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلاٗ﴿60﴾

لئن لم ينته المنفقون والذين في قلوبهم مرض والمرجفون في المدينة لنغرينك بهم ثم لا يجاورونك فيها إلا قليلا

If the hypocrites and those who have sickness in their hearts, and the rumormongers in Madinah do not desist, We will surely instruct you [O Prophet] to overpower them, then they will not remain in the city with you except for a short while.

مَّلْعُونِينَ أَيْنَمَا ثُقِفُواْ أُخِذُواْ وَقُتِّلُواْ تَقْتِيلاٗ﴿61﴾

ملعونين أينما ثقفوا أخذوا وقتلوا تقتيلا

They are cursed; wherever they are found they should be seized and killed outright.

سُنَّةَ اَللَّهِ فِي اِلذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اِللَّهِ تَبْدِيلاٗ﴿62﴾

سنة الله في الذين خلوا من قبل ولن تجد لسنة الله تبديلا

Such was Allah’s way with those [hypocrites] who came before, and you will find no change in Allah’s way.

يَسْـَٔلُكَ اَلنَّاسُ عَنِ اِلسَّاعَةِ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ اَللَّهِ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ اَلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيباً﴿63﴾

يسـلك الناس عن الساعة قل إنما علمها عند الله وما يدريك لعل الساعة تكون قريبا

People ask you [O Prophet] concerning the Hour. Say, “Its knowledge is only with Allah.” How could you know? Perhaps the Hour is near.

إِنَّ اَللَّهَ لَعَنَ اَلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيراً﴿64﴾

إن الله لعن الكفرين وأعد لهم سعيرا

Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and has prepared for them a Blazing Fire,

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَداٗ لَّا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيّاٗ وَلَا نَصِيراٗ﴿65﴾

خلدين فيها أبدا لا يجدون وليا ولا نصيرا

abiding therein forever, never will they find any protector or helper.

يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي اِلنَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَٰلَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اَللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا اَلرَّسُولَا﴿66﴾

يوم تقلب وجوههم في النار يقولون يليتنا أطعنا الله وأطعنا الرسولا

On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they will say, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!”

وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَآءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا اَلسَّبِيلَا﴿67﴾

وقالوا ربنا إنا أطعنا سادتنا وكبراءنا فأضلونا السبيلا

They will say, “Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our elders, but they led us astray from the [right] way.

رَبَّنَا ءَاتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ اَلْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْناٗ كَثِيراٗ﴿68﴾

ربنا ءاتهم ضعفين من العذاب والعنهم لعنا كثيرا

Our Lord, give them a double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse.”

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَكُونُواْ كَالذِينَ ءَاذَوْاْ مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ اُللَّهُ مِمَّا قَالُواْ وَكَانَ عِندَ اَللَّهِ وَجِيهاٗ﴿69﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا لا تكونوا كالذين ءاذوا موسى فبرأه الله مما قالوا وكان عند الله وجيها

O you who believe, do not be like those who maligned Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said; he was highly honored before Allah.

يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اُتَّقُواْ اُللَّهَ وَقُولُواْ قَوْلاٗ سَدِيداٗ﴿70﴾

يأيها الذين ءامنوا اتقوا الله وقولوا قولا سديدا

O you who believe, fear Allah and say what is right,

يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُّطِعِ اِللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزاً عَظِيماً﴿71﴾

يصلح لكم أعملكم ويغفر لكم ذنوبكم ومن يطع الله ورسوله فقد فاز فوزا عظيما

He will guide you to righteous deeds and forgive your sins. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will surely achieve a supreme triumph.

إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا اَلْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى اَلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَنْ يَّحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا اَلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ ظَلُوماٗ جَهُولاٗ﴿72﴾

إنا عرضنا الأمانة على السموت والأرض والجبال فأبين أن يحملنها وأشفقن منها وحملها الإنسن إنه كان ظلوما جهولا

Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens, the earth, and the mountains, yet they refused to bear it and were afraid of it. But man assumed it; he is indeed wrongful and ignorant.

لِّيُعَذِّبَ اَللَّهُ اُلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ وَالْمُنَٰفِقَٰتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَٰتِ وَيَتُوبَ اَللَّهُ عَلَى اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ وَكَانَ اَللَّهُ غَفُوراٗ رَّحِيماَ﴿73﴾

ليعذب الله المنفقين والمنفقت والمشركين والمشركت ويتوب الله على المؤمنين والمؤمنت وكان الله غفورا رحيما

[As a result of that] Allah will punish the hypocrite men and women, and the polytheist men and women, and Allah will accept the repentance of the believing men and women, for Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
