الفَلَق

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ اِلْفَلَقِ﴿1﴾

قل أعوذ برب الفلق

Say, “I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak,

مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ﴿2﴾

من شر ما خلق

from the harm of all what He has created;

وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ﴿3﴾

ومن شر غاسق إذا وقب

from the harm of darkening [night] when it spreads around,

وَمِن شَرِّ اِلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي اِلْعُقَدِ﴿4﴾

ومن شر النفثت في العقد

from the harm of the sorceresses who blow on knots,

وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ﴿5﴾

ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد

and from the harm of the envier when he envies."
