بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
1
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَٰبِ اِلْفِيلِ﴿1﴾
ألم تر كيف فعل ربك بأصحب الفيل
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the people of the Elephant?
2
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٖ﴿2﴾
ألم يجعل كيدهم في تضليل
Did He not turn their scheme into a total loss?
3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْراً أَبَابِيلَ﴿3﴾
وأرسل عليهم طيرا أبابيل
He sent against them swarms of birds,
4
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ﴿4﴾
ترميهم بحجارة من سجيل
pelting them with stones of baked clay,
5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٖ مَّأْكُولِ﴿5﴾
فجعلهم كعصف مأكول
leaving them like chewed-up chaff.
