اِلرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَّمَ اَلْقُرْءَانَ﴿1﴾
الرحمن علم القرءان
The Most Compassionate,
خَلَقَ اَلْإِنسَٰنَ عَلَّمَهُ اُلْبَيَانَ﴿2﴾
خلق الإنسن علمه البيان
has taught the Qur’an,
اَلشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٖ﴿3﴾
الشمس والقمر بحسبان
He created man,
وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَٰنِ﴿4﴾
والنجم والشجر يسجدن
and taught him speech.
وَالسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ اَلْمِيزَانَ﴿5﴾
والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان
The sun and the moon follow their precise courses,
أَلَّا تَطْغَوْاْ فِي اِلْمِيزَانِ﴿6﴾
ألا تطغوا في الميزان
and the stars and trees prostrate [to Allah].
وَأَقِيمُواْ اُلْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُواْ اُلْمِيزَانَ﴿7﴾
وأقيموا الوزن بالقسط ولا تخسروا الميزان
He raised the heaven and enjoined justice
وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ﴿8﴾
والأرض وضعها للأنام
so that you may not transgress the limits of justice.
فِيهَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ اُلْأَكْمَامِ﴿9﴾
فيها فكهة والنخل ذات الأكمام
Therefore establish weights in justice, and do not give short measure.
وَالْحَبُّ ذُو اُلْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ﴿10﴾
والحب ذو العصف والريحان
He has spread out the earth for all creatures,
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿11﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
in which there are fruits and palm trees with date stalks,
خَلَقَ اَلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن صَلْصَٰلٖ كَالْفَخَّارِ﴿12﴾
خلق الإنسن من صلصل كالفخار
and grain having chaff, and fragrant plants.
وَخَلَقَ اَلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٖ مِّن نَّارٖ﴿13﴾
وخلق الجان من مارج من نار
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿14﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
He created man from dry clay like pottery,
رَبُّ اُلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ اُلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ﴿15﴾
رب المشرقين ورب المغربين
and He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿16﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
مَرَجَ اَلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَٰنِ﴿17﴾
مرج البحرين يلتقين
[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets.
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٞ لَّا يَبْغِيَٰنِ﴿18﴾
بينهما برزخ لا يبغين
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿19﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
He merges the two seas meeting together,
يُخْرَجُ مِنْهُمَا اَللُّؤْلُؤُاْ وَالْمَرْجَانُ﴿20﴾
يخرج منهما اللؤلؤا والمرجان
yet between them is a barrier so that they do not cross.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿21﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
وَلَهُ اُلْجَوَارِ اِلْمُنشَأَٰتُ فِي اِلْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَٰمِ﴿22﴾
وله الجوار المنشأت في البحر كالأعلم
Out of both of them emerge pearls and coral.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿23﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٖ﴿24﴾
كل من عليها فان
To Him belong the sailing ships raised up in the sea like mountains.
وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو اُلْجَلَٰلِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ﴿25﴾
ويبقى وجه ربك ذو الجلل والإكرام
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿26﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Everyone on earth will perish,
يَسْـَٔلُهُ مَن فِي اِلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٖ﴿27﴾
يسـله من في السموت والأرض كل يوم هو في شأن
but there will remain the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿28﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ اَلثَّقَلَٰنِ﴿29﴾
سنفرغ لكم أيه الثقلن
All those in the heavens and earth ask of Him; every day He is engaged in some matters.
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿30﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
يَٰمَعْشَرَ اَلْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اِسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُواْ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ اِلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُواْ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَٰنٖ﴿31﴾
يمعشر الجن والإنس إن استطعتم أن تنفذوا من أقطار السموت والأرض فانفذوا لا تنفذون إلا بسلطن
We will attend to you, O two multitudes [of men and jinn].
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿32﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٞ مِّن نَّارٖ﴿33﴾
يرسل عليكما شواظ من نار
O assembly of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the realms of the heavens and earth, then pass; you cannot pass without [Our] authority.
وَنُحَاسٞ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَٰنِ﴿34﴾
ونحاس فلا تنتصرن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿35﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
There will be sent against you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not be able to defend yourselves.
فَإِذَا اَنشَقَّتِ اِلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةٗ كَالدِّهَانِ﴿36﴾
فإذا انشقت السماء فكانت وردة كالدهان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿37﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
When the heaven is split asunder and becomes crimson like [burnt] oil.
فَيَوْمَئِذٖ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٞ وَلَا جَآنّٞ﴿38﴾
فيومئذ لا يسـل عن ذنبه إنس ولا جان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿39﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
On that Day no human or jinn will be asked about his sin.
يُعْرَفُ اُلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَٰصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ﴿40﴾
يعرف المجرمون بسيمهم فيؤخذ بالنوصي والأقدام
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿41﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
The wicked will be known by their marks and will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.
هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ اُلتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا اَلْمُجْرِمُونَ﴿42﴾
هذه جهنم التي يكذب بها المجرمون
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٖ﴿43﴾
يطوفون بينها وبين حميم ءان
[They will be told] “This is the Hell that the wicked used to deny.”
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿44﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
They will go round between it and scalding water.
وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَٰنِ﴿45﴾
ولمن خاف مقام ربه جنتن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿46﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
For those who fear of standing before their Lord will be two Gardens.
ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٖ﴿47﴾
ذواتا أفنان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿48﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Shaded by spreading branches.
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَٰنِ تَجْرِيَٰنِ﴿49﴾
فيهما عينن تجرين
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿50﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In each there are two flowing springs.
فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٖ زَوْجَٰنِ﴿51﴾
فيهما من كل فكهة زوجن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿52﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In each there are two kinds of every fruit.
مُتَّكِـِٕينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٖ وَجَنَا اَلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٖ﴿53﴾
متكـين على فرش بطائنها من إستبرق وجنا الجنتين دان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿54﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
They will recline on couches lined with rich brocade, with the fruits of both gardens within reach.
فِيهِنَّ قَٰصِرَٰتُ اُلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنّٞ﴿55﴾
فيهن قصرت الطرف لم يطمثهن إنس قبلهم ولا جان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿56﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In them there will be maidens of restrained gaze, untouched before them by any man or jinn.
كَأَنَّهُنَّ اَلْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ﴿57﴾
كأنهن الياقوت والمرجان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿58﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
As if they were rubies and pearls.
هَلْ جَزَآءُ اُلْإِحْسَٰنِ إِلَّا اَلْإِحْسَٰنُ﴿59﴾
هل جزاء الإحسن إلا الإحسن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿60﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Is the reward for goodness anything but goodness?
وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَٰنِ﴿61﴾
ومن دونهما جنتن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿62﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
And besides these two there will be two other gardens.
مُدْهَآمَّتَٰنِ﴿63﴾
مدهامتن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿64﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Both of the deepest green.
فِيهِمَا عَيْنَٰنِ نَضَّاخَتَٰنِ﴿65﴾
فيهما عينن نضاختن
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿66﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In each there are two gushing springs.
فِيهِمَا فَٰكِهَةٞ وَنَخْلٞ وَرُمَّانٞ﴿67﴾
فيهما فكهة ونخل ورمان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿68﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In each there are fruits, palm trees, and pomegranates.
فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَٰتٌ حِسَانٞ﴿69﴾
فيهن خيرت حسان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿70﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
In them there are beautiful noble women.
حُورٞ مَّقْصُورَٰتٞ فِي اِلْخِيَامِ﴿71﴾
حور مقصورت في الخيام
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿72﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
Maidens with gorgeous eyes, reserved in pavilions.
لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٞ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنّٞ﴿73﴾
لم يطمثهن إنس قبلهم ولا جان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿74﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
No human or jinn has ever touched them before.
مُتَّكِـِٕينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٖ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٖ﴿75﴾
متكـين على رفرف خضر وعبقري حسان
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ﴿76﴾
فبأي ءالاء ربكما تكذبان
[They will be] reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets.
تَبَٰرَكَ اَسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي اِلْجَلَٰلِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ﴿77﴾
تبرك اسم ربك ذي الجلل والإكرام
Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?
