يُسَبِّحُ لِلهِ مَا فِي اِلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي اِلْأَرْضِ لَهُ اُلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ اُلْحَمْدُ وَهْوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٖ قَدِيرٌ﴿1﴾
يسبح لله ما في السموت وما في الأرض له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifies Allah. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Most Capable of all things.
هُوَ اَلذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٞ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٞ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ﴿2﴾
هو الذي خلقكم فمنكم كافر ومنكم مؤمن والله بما تعملون بصير
It is He Who created you, yet some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
خَلَقَ اَلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَإِلَيْهِ اِلْمَصِيرُ﴿3﴾
خلق السموت والأرض بالحق وصوركم فأحسن صوركم وإليه المصير
He created the heavens and earth for a true purpose, He shaped you and perfected your form. And to Him is the final return.
يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي اِلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمُ بِذَاتِ اِلصُّدُورِ﴿4﴾
يعلم ما في السموت والأرض ويعلم ما تسرون وما تعلنون والله عليم بذات الصدور
He knows all that is in the heavens and earth, and He knows whatever you conceal and whatever you reveal. And Allah is All-Knowing of what is in the hearts.
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُاْ اُلذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُواْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ﴿5﴾
ألم يأتكم نبؤا الذين كفروا من قبل فذاقوا وبال أمرهم ولهم عذاب أليم
Has there not come to you the stories of those who disbelieved before you? They tasted the evil consequence of their deeds, and for them there will be a painful punishment.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالُواْ أَبَشَرٞ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُواْ وَتَوَلَّواْ وَّاسْتَغْنَى اَللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٞ﴿6﴾
ذلك بأنه كانت تأتيهم رسلهم بالبينت فقالوا أبشر يهدوننا فكفروا وتولوا واستغنى الله والله غني حميد
That is because their messengers came to them with clear proofs, but they said, “How can a human guide us?” Thus they disbelieved and turned away, but Allah had no need for them, for Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.
زَعَمَ اَلذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَن لَّنْ يُّبْعَثُواْ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اَللَّهِ يَسِيرٞ﴿7﴾
زعم الذين كفروا أن لن يبعثوا قل بلى وربي لتبعثن ثم لتنبؤن بما عملتم وذلك على الله يسير
The disbelievers claim that they will never be resurrected. Say, “Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected, then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that is easy for Allah.”
فَـَٔامِنُواْ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالنُّورِ اِلذِي أَنزَلْنَا وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ﴿8﴾
فـامنوا بالله ورسوله والنور الذي أنزلنا والله بما تعملون خبير
So believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light [i.e., the Qur’an] that We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ اِلْجَمْعِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ اُلتَّغَابُنِ وَمَنْ يُّؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَٰلِحاٗ نُّكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِ وَنُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا اَلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَداٗ ذَٰلِكَ اَلْفَوْزُ اُلْعَظِيمُ﴿9﴾
يوم يجمعكم ليوم الجمع ذلك يوم التغابن ومن يؤمن بالله ويعمل صلحا نكفر عنه سيـاته وندخله جنت تجري من تحتها الأنهر خلدين فيها أبدا ذلك الفوز العظيم
When He will gather you for the Gathering Day; that is the Day of great loss. But whoever believes in Allah and does righteous deeds, He will absolve them of their bad deeds and will admit them to gardens under which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. That is the supreme triumph.
وَالذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَكَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ اُلنَّارِ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَبِئْسَ اَلْمَصِيرُ﴿10﴾
والذين كفروا وكذبوا بـايتنا أولئك أصحب النار خلدين فيها وبيس المصير
As for those who disbelieve and reject Our verses, they will be the people of the Fire, abiding therein forever. What a terrible destination!
مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اِللَّهِ وَمَنْ يُّؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٞ﴿11﴾
ما أصاب من مصيبة إلا بإذن الله ومن يؤمن بالله يهد قلبه والله بكل شيء عليم
No calamity befalls except with Allah’s permission. Whoever believes in Allah, He will guide his heart. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything.
وَأَطِيعُواْ اُللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ اُلرَّسُولَ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا اَلْبَلَٰغُ اُلْمُبِينُ﴿12﴾
وأطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول فإن توليتم فإنما على رسولنا البلغ المبين
Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away, then the duty of Our Messenger is only to convey the message clearly.
اُللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى اَللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ اِلْمُؤْمِنُونَ﴿13﴾
الله لا إله إلا هو وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون
Allah, none has the right to be worshiped except Him. So in Allah let the believers put their trust.
يَٰأَيُّهَا اَلذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدِكُمْ عَدُوّاٗ لَّكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ وَإِن تَعْفُواْ وَتَصْفَحُواْ وَتَغْفِرُواْ فَإِنَّ اَللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ﴿14﴾
يأيها الذين ءامنوا إن من أزوجكم وأولدكم عدوا لكم فاحذروهم وإن تعفوا وتصفحوا وتغفروا فإن الله غفور رحيم
O you who believe, indeed, among your wives and your children are some who are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook, and forgive, then Allah is indeed All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
إِنَّمَا أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٞ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٞ﴿15﴾
إنما أمولكم وأولدكم فتنة والله عنده أجر عظيم
Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and with Allah is a great reward.
فَاتَّقُواْ اُللَّهَ مَا اَسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُواْ وَأَطِيعُواْ وَأَنفِقُواْ خَيْراٗ لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ وَمَنْ يُّوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ اُلْمُفْلِحُونَ﴿16﴾
فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم واسمعوا وأطيعوا وأنفقوا خيرا لأنفسكم ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون
So fear Allah as much as you can, listen and obey, and spend in charity; that is better for your souls. Whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul, it is they who are successful.
إِن تُقْرِضُواْ اُللَّهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناٗ يُضَٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ﴿17﴾
إن تقرضوا الله قرضا حسنا يضعفه لكم ويغفر لكم والله شكور حليم
If you lend Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you, for Allah is Most Appreciative, Most Forbearing,
عَٰلِمُ اُلْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَٰدَةِ اِلْعَزِيزُ اُلْحَكِيمُ﴿18﴾
علم الغيب والشهدة العزيز الحكيم
Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
